BA HON'S

Bachelor of Arts with Honours (B.A.(Hons.))
Bachelor of Arts (Hons.) is an Academic Degree that is awarded to students graduating in the field of Arts. The course falls under the umbrella of Bachelor of Arts.Bachelor of Arts is one of the most popularly pursued courses in India. In India, the duration of the BA Hons is 3 years. The degree is awarded in any one of the subjects or approved a combination of the subjects. Candidates looking for specialization in a particular subject in their under graduation, BA Hons. would be an ideal degree to opt.It provided a fine base for specialization in their particular subject with Master degree. Graduates can avail better BA (Hons.) job opportunities as they would be more specialized than a normal graduate.

Eligibility Criteria

BA Hons eligibility criteria is either via entrance tests or merit basis, however, the basic requirements to be observed by the scholars willing to pursue BA Hons are listed below:

  • A high secondary level of degree with a minimal percentage of 45% is needed.
  • In order to get entry to elite colleges like Delhi University, Mumbai University, or different prestigious universities, one needs to have more than 90%.
  • Students may also need to go through entrance tests conducted by few universities like Banaras Hindu University, Dayanand Sagar University, etc
