DCA

Diploma in Computer Application (DCA)
DCA, Diploma in Computer Applications, is a one-year diploma course in the field of Computer Applications which involves study of numerous computer applications such as MS Office, Internet Applications, Operating System, Database Management System (DBMS), HTML among other subjects. In order to apply for admission in any diploma in computer application colleges, candidates are required to have a high school degree or equivalent in any discipline from a recognized board with a at least 40% marks. Some of the core subjects of diploma in computer application syllabus are Basics Computer Skills, MS Office Applications, Internet Basics, E-Business, PC Assembly and Troubleshooting.exams conducted at the university level. Some of the institutes also hold a personal interview round as part of the admission process.

Eligibility Criteria

  • Candidate Should be a citizen of India.
  • Candidate must have passed class 12th or senior secondary examination with at least 50% marks including English.
  • The 12th examination must be passed/Appearing with mathematics as a compulsory subject.
  • The minimum age limit is 17 years and the maximum age varies between 22-25 years.
  • The students are generally admitted on the basis of personal interview and written examination conducted by various institutes/universities.
  • Some institutes/universities admit student on merit basis.
  • The merit is prepared on the basis of candidate’s performance in the qualifying examination (12th).
