B. ED

Bachelor of  Education (B.Ed)
Bachelor of Education (B.Ed) is a 2 year undergraduate teaching program that enables you to pursue a career in teaching and other related fields. This course can also be commonly known as Bachelor of Training. It covers subjects like holistic education, psychology, guidance and counseling and others. This course is preferably suitable for those who are willing to pursue their career in teaching line. This course can be pursued through correspondence too and it is necessary for teaching at secondary and higher secondary standards. This is also a viable option for you if you wish to go for M.Ed to get higher expertise. This 2 year program is usually divided into 4 semesters.

Eligibility Criteria

  • Candidate with at least fifty percent marks either in the Bachelor’s Degree and /or in the Master’s Degree in Sciences/Social Sciences/Humanity, Bachelor’s in Engineering of Technology with specialization in Science and Mathematics with 55% marks or any other qualification equivalent thereto, are eligible for admission to the programme.
  • The reservation and relaxation for SC/ST/OBC/PWD and other categories shall be as per the rules of the Central Government /State Government, whichever is applicable.
